She was born and raised in Culver City, California. She received her undergraduate degree in Biology from Mount St. Mary’s University in Los Angeles, California. She then went to medical school in Guadalajara, Mexico graduating from Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara. She finished a family medicine residency at Yuma Regional Medical Center in Yuma, Arizona. Since graduating from residency she has practiced medicine in several federally qualified health centers throughout the Southern California region. She has also worked as a prison doctor and served the Native American community on the Navajo reservation. Recently she worked as faculty at USC Medical School teaching 1st year medical students Introduction to Clinical Medicine. She opened her private practice in 2022 joining primary care physicians Dr. Sanchez and Dr. Ngan at Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center.
